Mommy, Yesterday was 2 years since you left us. I cannot express the Peace of my Heart that left that day. I tried my best to hold you forever Mom. But God took you to Heaven. Mom not a day has gone by when I don't shed a tear for you.I still don't understand why your gone. I go to pick up the phone when I am sick then remember no one is there to answer. I have nothing but the fondest memories of Natty from as early as I can remember. You were always around from the time I was an infant.  I loved going to her house as a child because all the nik nacks shined with the sunlight coming through the windows and her house always looked like a castle to me growing up. Natty always made me feel special as a child.  She loved me as if I were family and made me feel like I was. May you rest in peace Natty knowing many loved you and have beautiful memories as i do.

If I could have only been there with my Guitar to sing for you. All I ever needed was you one last time. You were cool Mom. Brenda I am so very sorry. I loved your Mother so much as a child on Howard St. She was so beautiful and she would do my hair and always made me feel like a princess. I have been thinking a lot about her and I thought of looking at her and she always had such pretty shoes on. I remember one pair had all these beautiful beads on they were high slide ons with every color beads. My Mother also loved her so very much. It's sad we lost touch but some people you meet in life are forever friends. As my mother and your mother are and as you and I am. They are both looking down at us and having a great time seeing each other again. Mom this is the hardest thing ever. I look for you during the night.And your not here.I feel your presence but I cannot hold your hand. I cry because you were so Special.Not just my Mom my Best Friend. People don't understand how you made all you own arrangements and choices and wanted it Private.Your wishes were forfilled. Grissom and everyone there were the best.I got your heart started 3 times to only stop again. I still don't know why you had to go. Shane had to pull me away to let you go to Heaven. I am so lost Mom. You were the best. I could never have asked for anyone else for a Mom and Friend. We laughed had long talks I learned alot. You Thanked me.You said you would not have been alive that long if it was not for me. That is not true. You were the true Champ and Fighter. I thought we were doing good. And so quick a change. I'm so very,very sorry for your loss.I can't begin to imagine how bereft you are without your best friend.
Anyone that knows you,knows how much love there was between you and your Mom.How much fun you had being together and just how loving and caring you were to her in the last year of her life.She knew how much you cared.She told me time and time again when I spent all those hours with her at the hospital and nursing home up here.I'll be forever grateful that I could bring some love and happiness into her life.It was a privilege to be in her company.She could be so funny some times!Always remember Brenda that YOU were the only one to be a constant in her life at the end and she told me she would not have lived as long as she did if not for all your love and care.May God bless you all and bring you some peace.Harry sends his condolences.He really enjoyed her company and spent some time with her up here also.
