Patricia Kimpton

Patricia Ruth (Bromfield) Kimpton, 86, of Davenport, FL, passed away on April 18, 2026. Born on October 17, 1939, in Canastota, NY, Pat graduated from Canastota High School in 1957. Once her children were older, she worked in the Canastota School District and later at McDonald’s and the Hallmark Store, always bringing kindness to the people around her.

Pat married Wayne Kimpton on June 21, 1958, beginning a 57-year partnership rooted in loyalty and love. They raised their family in Canastota before moving to Port Charlotte, FL, in 1992, and later to Davenport, FL, in 2012. Pat was the cornerstone of her family; happiest when surrounded by those she loved. She enjoyed word puzzles, Rummikub games around the table, time with her grandchildren, and countless trips to Disney World with Wayne.

Pat is survived by her children: Tim Kimpton and his wife, Ginger Kimpton; Terri (Kimpton) Flynn; Todd Kimpton and his wife, Kimberly Kimpton; and Tammie (Kimpton) Sica and her partner, David Bernardino. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Alexandra Kimpton, Jake Kimpton, Tanya Flynn, Thomas Sullivan, Kiah Kimpton, Patric Kimpton, Emma Sica, and Leah Sica.

A burial service will be planned at a later date in Canastota, NY.
