Robert Lee Maxwell

He was born in Charles City, Iowa on March 21st, 1930 to the late Robert James & Margaret Elizabeth (Tibbits) Maxwell.

Robert spent his life dedicated to the United States Navy, where he retired as Chief Electrician’s Mate.

In his spare time, he enjoyed watching every kind of sport, especially NASCAR during the Dale Earnhardt years.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Duane R. Maxwell and his wife, Leona V. Maxwell.

He is survived by his daughters, Linda K. Brown Maxwell (Marathon, FL), Diana L. Willingham (Crystal River, FL) and Teresa A. Lanier (Coker Creek, TN); his son, James B. Maxwell (Jacksonville Beach, FL); stepdaughter, Josephine E. Fish (Ocoee, FL); stepson, Jack K. Jernigan (St. Cloud, FL); eleven grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held for Robert on Saturday, April 8th, 2017 at 11am

at the First Missionary Baptist Church of Kenansville, 760 S Canoe Creek Rd, Kenansville, FL 34739.

The inurnment will complete the ceremonies, and all are invited to the church reception immediately following.
