Sara L. Baker

BAKER – Mrs. Sara Louise Baker, 83, of Kissimmee, Florida was born on January 25, 1930 in Johnstown, NY went home to be with the Lord on Sunday April 21, 2013. Sara is survived by her husband George Baker of 56 years originally from Orlando, sister: Veronica (Carmen) Nelson of Kissimmee, daughter: Shelley Anderson of Schenectady, NY, and sons: Jeffrey Anderson (Barbara) of Albany, NY, Ricky Lumpkin (Lois) of Augusta, GA, Kenneth Gibson (Katrina) of Clifton Park, NY, Darnell Baker (Debra) of Schenectady, NY, Shawn Baker (Myrna) of Kissimmee, Rodney Baker (Patricia) of Venice, FL, 14 grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren and godchildren. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, godmother, sister and friend. Her genuine smile, quick wit and sassy charm lit up every room she entered. Sara owned and operated a catering business for 33 years in Schenectady, NY and upon retiring to Florida became a member of Sherwood Forest Non-Denominational Chapel of Kissimmee and Sherwood Forest Red Hatters. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Sara L. Baker will be held Sunday May 12, 2013 at 3p.m. Sherwood Forest Community Chapel 705 Arrow Lane Clubhouse 2 Kissimmee, FL 34746 with Pastor Frank Miller officiating.
