Scott, Anne M. At Grand River Hospital, K-W Health Care Centre, on Sunday, February 21, 2010, after a brief illness, surrounded by her family. The former Anne Mary Yolkowski, aged 94 years. Anne was a member of St. Louis Church and the C.W.L. for 54 years of the Church, a charter member of “Friends” at the Rockway Senior Centre and an avid card player specializing in Solo. Loving mother to Ken and Debbie and her husband John Carey all of Kitchener, beloved grandma to Scott Carey, dear sister to Dominic Yolkowski and his wife Isabel of Haley Station, Paul of Cobden, Tony and his wife Geralyn of Waterloo, Lucy Monaco, Agnes and her husband Douglas (Bud) Bartlett, Evelyn and her husband Keith Vaughan and Rita Gural all of Kitchener. Predeceased by her parents Frank Yolkowski and Katherine Chapeski her husband Walter in 1998, 1 brother Thomas and three sisters, Tessie, Jean and Margaret. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 where parish prayers will be recited at 7:00 pm. The funeral mass will be on Wednesday at 11:00 am from St. Louis Church with Father Bernie Hayes C.R. officiating.
