Athina Chrysikopoulou

Passed away surrounded by her family on Tuesday, June 26, 2012, in her 89th year.

Athina was born on July 11,1923 in Sklithron, Florina, Greece.

Beloved sister of Maria Giannoudis; sadly missed by nephew Pantelis Lialios, nieces Anneta Goumas, Paraskevoula Petrides and husband Demetrios Petrides; great-nephew Argerios Goumas and wife Eliana Goumas; great-niece Violetta Sevaptsidis and husband Elias Sevaptsidis and great grand-niece Kalli-Ann Magdalini Sevaptsidis.

Athina was predeceased by her parents Stephanos and Eleni Chysikopoulou; sisters Olga Kalaitzis and Magdalini Lialiou; brothers, Michael Chrysikopoulos and Thomas Chrysikopoulos; brother-in laws, Methodios Kalaitzis, Stephanos Lialios, Panayiotis Giannoudis and nephews, Apostolis Kalaitzis, Evangelos Lialios and Petros Lialios and niece, Katina Kazaris.

The family will receive friends and family at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King Street West, Kitchener on Thursday,

July 5 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm where Trisagion will be held at

8 pm. Funeral service will be held on Friday, July 6 at 10 a.m. from St. Peter and Paul Greek Orthodox Church, 527 Bridgeport Road, Kitchener, the Very Reverend Father Constantine Marinos officiating. Interment Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
