Elizabeth Betty Welsh Munro Quinn

In her 64th year, surrounded by her loving family, passed away peacefully, after a brave and courageous battle against cancer. Betty was a professional buyer and a world traveler to China, India, Pakistan, USA and Scotland, who loved the Caribbean. She was a passionate gardener. Survived by her beloved husband Michael of 42 years; loving mother of Jennifer Trimble (Trevor) and Julie Quinn; her sister Olive Paterson (Jimmy). Loved grandmother of Keirstin Roche, Madison Hastie, T.J., Anthony and baby Bethany Trimble on the way. Survived by her brother-in-law Gerry Quinn, nephews Jim (Sharon), Kevin (Laura), James and Stuart Paterson, niece Eileen Marley (Mike). She will be greatly missed by her fellow gardening fanatic Sonia Mitchell and by many friends. Predeceased by her sister Ruth Strong and sister-in-law Grace Quinn. Visitors are welcome at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. A Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at 2 p.m. Cremation to follow.
