Francis Walter Hunziger

Passed away suddenly but peacefully at St. Marys Hospital in Kitchener on Saturday, December 11, 2010 in his 84th year. Frank was a member of St. Joseph’s R.C. Church, Kitchener.

Beloved husband of Doris, dear father of Sharon Collins, Pat (Bob) Glover, Darlene (John) Bamburger, Sandra Davis and predeceased by his son Daryl. Loving grandfather of Rob, Tasha, Chris, Jason, Terry, Steven and Ashley and great-grandfather to Maja and Miles. Loving brother to Florence Weber. Predeceased also by his sister Marie (Cletus – predeceased) Berbrick and his brothers Lawrence and George Bester.

Frank lived his life in Kitchener working for many years and then retiring from Lear Seating.

Mr. Hunziger’s family will receive friends and relatives at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home and Chapel, 51 Benton at Church St. Kitchener on Monday, December 13 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. (Prayers to be held at 8:30 p.m.). Prayers will be offered at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 14 at 10:30 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial from St. Joseph’s R.C. Church, 148 Madison Avenue South, Kitchener at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Tom Vermiglio, M.C.C.J. as celebrant. A private family interment will take place at Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener.
