Passed away peacefully on September 1, 2015 at her home in Waterloo at the age of 91.
Gladys was predeceased by her husband Laverne in 1995. Gladys was dearly beloved by her daughter Daena and sons Philip (Carol) and Fred (Lillian); grandchildren Graham (Jackie), Krista (Steve), Nicholas, Jill, Jennifer (Scott) and Jonathan (Anna) and ten great-grandchildren. Dearly loved by many special friends.
Gladys loved gardening and animals and was gifted at sewing and baking (sticky buns).
A private celebration for family and close friends will be held at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society and Solitudes Wildlife Centre would be appreciated and may be arranged by contacting the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 519-745-9495.
