Helen Mary Majer

MAJER, Helen – Helen Majer, in her 93rd year, passed away peacefully with family by her side on November 17, 2012. Devoted wife of the late Joseph Majer (1996). Loving mother of Robert (Barbara), Irene, and Jim (Joan) and the late Dorlene Majer (1997). Beloved grandmother of Andrea Barton (Joel), Sean Logsdon (Elizabeth), Nathan Majer (Natalie), Alison Smith (Jeff) and Leigh Majer (Tito). Great-grandmother of Courtney, Christine, Gillian, Mackenzie, Hayden, Aidan and Alexander. Sister of Les Gornyiczki, Julia Papai, Mike Gornyiczki and the late Mary Heywood. Helen is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their families. Family and friends may visit the Ratz Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King Street West, Kitchener on Wednesday, November 21th from 7-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, November 22 at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, 173 Lourdes Street West, Waterloo with reception to follow.
