John Eckhardt

John Gottfried Eckhardt aged 73 years.

John was a Bishop of the New Apostolic Church and had been employed at Kraus Carpet, retiring in 2000 as Vice President.

Dear soul companion and wife to the former Sandie Kreutner, loving father to Katherine and her husband Peter Loschnig of Kitchener, Kenneth and his wife Penny and Jonathan and his wife Sherie all of Waterloo, beloved papa to Jacob, Ellia, Ethan, Dylan, Lily, Brody and Declan John, brother to Harold and his wife Anne and Rita Steikow all of Wateroo, Sonya and her husband Max Doderer, Wiera Raich and Ellen all of Chicago.

Predeceased by his parents Walter and Lydia Eckhardt, two brothers-in-law, John Raich and Peter Steikow.

Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 7:00 pm from the New Apostolic Church, Kitchener Central on Margaret Ave. with Bishop Michael Wagner officiating.
