Katherine Menyes

It is with deep sorrow that we announce her passing on June 20, 2014, at the age of 79. Devoted wife of John Menyes, treasured mother of Marlene (Fred) Maier, Ron (Sonja) Menyes, Karen (Gary) Gasparini, Tina (Danny) Vicano and deeply loved and sadly missed by grandchildren Carolynn Weaver, Fred (Shannon) Maier, Michael (Fran) Maier, J.D. Menyes, Sean Menyes, Kaitlin Gasparini, Christopher Gasparini, Mackenzie Sharratt, and Taylor Sharratt. Daughter of the late John and Kathleen Gillich, sister of John Gillich, daughter-in-law of the late Maria and John Menyes. An artist who loved her family, a memorial visitation will be held at Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, ON N2G 1C7 on Monday June 23, 2014, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A Celebration of Katherine’s life will be held at Tina and Danny’s farm on Tuesday June 24, 2014, at 2 pm. Cremation has taken place.
