Marija Nestic

Marija passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side on Sunday July 3, 2011, age 75 years. Born in Croatia, Marija was a member of Holy Family Croatian Church, Kitchener and had been retired from Lear Canada after many years of service. She loved her family and friends and her Croatian Heritage along with her gardening, cooking and dancing.

Loving wife of the late Ivan Nestic who predeceased her in 1996. Cherished mother of Anna Ethier and her husband Bernie of Kitchener, Ivan Nestic of Thamesford, and Joe Nestic of Kitchener. Beloved baka of Evan. Marija is survived by family in Croatia and Slovania, and a niece Helen Blazon and family of Kitchener. Mrs. Nestic’s family will receive friends and relatives at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home and Chapel, 51 Benton at Church St. Kitchener on Wednesday from 2-4, 7-9pm. (Prayers will be offered at the funeral home at 8:00pm). Mass of Christian Burial to follow on Thursday July 7, 2011 at 10:00 am from Holy Family Croatian Church, 180 Schweitzer St., Kitchener.
