Michael Reitzel

Michael Eugene Reitzel aged 87 years.

Mike was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, the K-W Serra Club, Pro Life Clubs, Holy Name Society of St. Agnes, the Waterloo Knights of Columbus, the Probus Club, Club 291, A.T.H.S. and H.C.E.A.

Dear father to John and his wife Judy of Breslau, Cathy and her husband Richard Jervah of Waterloo , Marion Lukas of St. Thomas, Paul and his wife Coleen and daughter-in-law Peggy all of Waterloo, beloved Grandpa to 20 Grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Mike was one of the founders of Reitzel Bros. with brothers Ray and Pat and was past President and Chairman of the Board of Reitzel Rental Ltd.

Predeceased by his parents Eugene Reitzel and Edna Greenwood, his wife the former Bernadette Hergott in May of this year, one son Joseph, one granddaughter Sandra Lukas and a daughter-in-law Maryann, six brothers, Neil, Raphael, Ludger, Blaise, Patrick and William and a sister Chris Smith.

Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 where parish prayers will be recited at 8:45 pm.

A Funeral Mass and Committal service will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 am from Our Lady of Lourdes Church with Monsignor Edward Sheridan officiating. Donations may be made to K-W Right to Life Foundation as expressions of sympathy through the Funeral Home.
