Paul Thomas Hintz

Surrounded by the love of his family, peacefully at the Grand River Hospital on Thursday, December 29, 2011 in his 38th year. Dearly loved husband of Roxanne (nee Gies) and cherished father of Damian, Paul will be dearly missed by his parents John Hintz (Gayle) and Kathy Hintz (nee Reid) and his brother Joe (Jen) Hintz all of Kitchener. Loving son-in-law of Doug (Jennine) Gies of Teeswater, brother-in-law to Jessica (Neil) Kavelman of Waterloo and uncle to Matthew, Emily, Summer and Sabrina. Predeceased by his grand parents Marie “Nan” (nee Hicknell) and Wyman Reid, Ruth (nee Wolfe) and Floyd Hintz, Uncle Wayne Reid and Aunt Patricia Stevenson. Paul was a great lover of the outdoors with a passion for fishing and cooking, he will be dearly missed by all whose lives he touched.

Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W. on Tuesday January 3, 2012 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Funeral service to celebrate Paul’s life will be in the funeral home chapel at 7:00 p.m., cremation to follow. All are invited to gather in the Ratz-Bechtel Family Centre for fellowship and refreshments following the chapel service.
