Raymond Cecil Uberig

Uberig, Raymond Cecil – Raymond Cecil of West Montrose, passed away in his 87th year on July 4, 2013 surrounded by family. Predeceased by his first wife Rose Marie (1986). Husband of Lorraine Uberig (Lindsay). Loving father of Brian and Patty, Donna and Steve Pinney, Janet and Frank Pineau, Wayne Lindsay and Sharon and Frank Wende. Grandpa of Erin, Brendan, Michelle, Craig, Frank Jr. and Tessa. Predeceased by his sister Betty Allen and brother Doug Uberig. Raymond worked as an accountant with Caya Fabrics for over 30 years. His many pastimes included travelling, square dancing and round dancing. Family and friends may visit the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King Street West, Kitchener on Friday, July 5 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm and Saturday, July 6 from 12 – 2. A funeral service will take place in the chapel on Saturday at 2:00 pm with burial at Woodland Cemetery. Reception in the Ratz-Bechtel Family Centre following interment.
