VOISIN, Ronald G. After a lengthy illness, our dear husband, dad and papa has been taken by the angels, peacefully at St. Mary's Hospital on Wednesday, September 19, 2012. Ronald Gerard Voisin, aged 81 years. Ron had owned and operated Ron Voisin Auto Service until his retirement in 1990, he had served on the Auxiliary Police Force, both with the OPP and the Waterloo Regional Police Force retiring as a staff Sergeant. Ron had a great love of gardening, carpentry and home which kept him busy and happy in his retirement. Loving husband for 62 years to the former Elinor Howlett, dear father to Kim and her husband Randy McCoppen of Kitchener and Steve and his wife Angela of Waterloo, beloved Papa to Tyler Ruge and his girlfriend Whitney and Nicholas Ruge, Mitchell and his wife Alicia and Michael and his girlfriend Michelle Lee, brother to Clifton and his wife Jean of Kitchener, Rita Schill of Elmira and Marie Wagner of St. Clements, also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Albert Voisin and Clementine Kittel, three sisters Gertrude Kavanaugh, Myrta Netzke and Doris Miller. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, (today) Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 where the funeral service will be held on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. with Father Peter Meyer officiating. Reception to follow in the Ratz-Bechtel Family Centre and donations may be made to the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre or St. Mary's Cardiac Care Unit as expressions of sympathy through the funeral home.
