Rudolf "Rudy" Jaklitsch

Peacefully on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at St. Mary’s Hospital, Kitchener after a brief illness. Born April 27, 1927 in Gottschee, Yugoslavia. Predeceased by his wife Luba (1999). Loving father of Amy & husband Rick. Dear brother of Hilda Trocha and brother-in-law of Hilda Jaklitsch. Predeceased by his brothers John & Fred, and sister Anne Jaklitsch. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Rudy was a long time member of the Alpine Club, which was like his 2nd home and was retired from Ball Bros. Construction. Family and friends will be received at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home, 51 Benton St. on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers at 8:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph’s R.C. Church on Saturday, December 31, 2011 at 10 a.m. Interment at Woodland Cemetery.
