Satinder Singh Rattan

With profound sadness the family announces the passing of Captain Satinder Singh Rattan (Retired from Indian Army, EME Core), of Moga, Punjab, India. After living in Guelph & Kitchener the holy soul passed away in the early morning hours on 25th of September 2013, at Hospice Wellington while surrounded by his beloved wife Gursharn Kaur, sons Onkar Singh & Satnam Singh, daughter Rupinder Kaur, & daughter in law Surinder Kaur. Captain Singh’s legacy will forever remain on the hearts of all his family, and friends. He was a cherished grandfather to Raman, Lovi, Dena, Robbie, Arsh, and Tanna. Apart from a family man, Captain Satinder Singh Rattan was actively involved in voluntary work at Sikh Gurughar of Kitchener. Visitation will take place (today) Friday from 7:00pm-8:30pm. at Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home , 51 Benton (at Church St.) Kitchener (519-742-4481). His funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 28th 2013 at Parkview Crematorium Chapel, 335 University Ave. E. Waterloo at 1pm, followed by Bhog Shri Ankhand Paath at Kitchener Gurdwara 2070 , Snyders Road East, Petersburg, N0B 2H0 (Ph:519-634-5681).All Welcome.
