

Passed away peacefully in the presence of her family at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on Thursday, November 10, 2011, age 54 years.
Born in Exeter, Ontario, Valerie had served in the Canadian Forces Reservist and had worked as a By-Law Officer in Thunder Bay and a Private Investigator in Kitchener.
Valerie is survived by her sisters, Gail Graham of Stoney Plain, A.B., Cheryl Kee and Chris of Delaware, Ontario and a brother, Ian Sweet of Cambridge. She is survived also by nieces, Erin Kee-Lindsay (Neil), Allison Kee and Haley Sweet. Predeceased by her parents, Douglas and Marian Sweet.
Cremation has taken place. As a Celebration of Valerie’s Life an open house will be held at the Waterloo Regional Police Association (1128 Rife Rd., North Dumfries) on Sunday, November 13th, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
