Mr. Werner "John" Meyer

MEYER, Werner John resident of Kitchener, passed away unexpectedly on November 10th, in his 86th year. He leaves behind his beloved wife Agnes Susan Meyer of 55 years of devoted marriage, and his brother Oskar. He is also survived and will be greatly missed by his only son Andrew, his daughter in-law Lorna, and dear grandchildren Daniel and Aidan. Born in Wettingen, Switzerland, John graduated from the College of Engineering Switzerland with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He worked as a plant engineer for Bristol Myers Pharmaceutical Group. John was a very generous man who always took great pleasure in giving to others, both family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of being his friend. A memorial service will be held at Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home & Chapel on 51 Benton Street in Kitchener on Saturday November 13th at 3:00PM. Thanks to the staff at Lanark Heights Long Term Care Center who showed great compassion to John and continue to do so for his wife Agnes.
