Albert Kelley

Albert Avery Kelley, age 84 of Knoxville, passed away July 1, 2023 at Parkwest Medical Center. He was a member of Spring Hill Baptist Church. He retired from TDOT after 38 years of service. Preceded in death by parents, Paul H. and Ruby Kelley; sister, Deanna Eubanks; first wife, Mary E. Jenkins Kelley; mother and father-in-law, Sanford and Imogene Jenkins. Survived by his wife, Kimberly Miller Kelley; sons, Rodney Kelley, Greg Kelley, Jeff Kelley and Larry Kelley and wife Michelle; step children, Charatie (Matt) Minnich, Sonny Jr. (Dallas) Morrell, Gabrielle (Brandon) Scates; grandchildren, Zechariah Morrell, Seth Morrell, Aaron Scates, Orianna Altum, Samantha Altum, Jacob Curtis, Lynsi Bolling and several great-grandchildren; brothers, Henry (Evelyn) Kelley, Paul E. (Connie) Kelley; sisters, Lola Bean, Helen Violet, Donna Norman and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Special friend, Johnny Butts. Family will receive friends Thursday at Weaver’s Chapel from 5-7 pm with the service to follow at 7pm. Family and friends will meet Friday at Solway church of God at 10:45 am for an 11am interment.
