Alfred Leffew, age 86, of Seymour, TN passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2021. He was of the Baptist faith, never met a stranger and enjoyed socializing with others. He was a welder by trade and later retired from Kroger. Alfred was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles-Walnut Street #2698 for 50 devoted years.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years, Mary Leffew; infant son, Alfred Leffew Jr.; mother, Gladys Leffew, father, Utah Leffew and step-mother, Edna Leffew.
Alfred is survived by daughters, Sharon Lundy (Gary), Debra Lowe (Stuart); granddaughters, Rachel Nelson (Nick), Stephanie Lundy, Ashley Lowe; grandson, Scott Lundy (Connie); great grandson, Landon Lundy; step brother, Ronald Leffew; step sister, Mary Coward; beloved cousin, Sherri Leffew Oglesby and many other relatives and friends.
Friends are invited to drop by at their convenience Thursday, February 25, 2021 between the hours of 10:00am-4:00pm at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Hwy, Knoxville. A private graveside service will be held at Asbury Cemetery officiated by Rev.
