Annetta Belle (Johnson) Welchel

Annetta was born in Knoxville, Tennessee. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother & great grandmother. Annetta was a graduate of Rule High School, class of 1953, and the Rule High Beauty Queen. She was a dedicated employee of Alpha Industries and a member of the Eastern Star. She is preceded in death by Hugh (Rusty) Welchel, daughter Vicki Strange, son, Roger Welchel, parents Horace & Dortha Johnson & RuthAnn McGinnis. She leaves behind daughters Kathy Rodriguez (Phillip) & Jama Hines (Michael) and sister, Sarah Gilliam. Granddaughter Tera Jones, Rachel White and grandsons, Kevin Jones, Corey Hines, Kyle White, Nathan Strange & Mason Moran. Great Grandchildren, Amanda Golka, Savannah Strange, Knox White & Aurelie Parker.

A visitation for Annetta will be held at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway, Knoxville, Tennessee 37920, in the parlor rooms on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, from 3 to 5 pm. A committal service will take place at Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, 5901 Lyons View Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919, on October 29th, 2025, at 1pm.
