Arnold “Ziffle” McGhee age 74, of Knoxville, passed away December 22, 2025. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a Godly man and who would help anyone in need. He attended Northwest Church of God. He was a retired auto mechanic and was the best Volvo mechanic in the country. Preceded in death by son, Ronnie; parents, Paul and Agnes McGhee; baby brother, Ronnie and sister, Elma. Survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Ruth McGhee; son, Randy (Malina) McGhee; daughter, Gail McGhee (Jimmy Sluder); grandchildren, Shawn, Shawna, Amber and Junior; great-grandchildren, A'Miracle, Harmony, Kacey and Amariah; brothers, Lonnie (Lynn) and James; sisters, Verdie, Mattie (John) and Paula (Steve); several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 5-7 pm Sunday at Weaver Funeral Home with a service to follow at 7 pm. Pastor Seth London officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 am Monday at Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery for an 11 am interment.
