

Mr. Babajide Adeyemi Adeola (Yemi) was born May 22, 1957, in Ijero-Ekiti, Nigeria, to Rev. Samuel Adebo Adeola and Mrs. Beatrice Oluremi Adeola. He attended Christ School Ado-Ekiti; Nigeria proceeding to work in the national assembly of Nigeria. He later moved to the United States in 1980 where he continued his education at Carson-Newman University, graduating with a degree in Distribution Management. He went on to work as senior operations manager at Con Agra Foods, Distribution manager at pharmaceutical division at cardinal health and distribution manager at General Electric. He enjoyed football and playing Scrabble with his family. He enjoyed his family and attending various family functions in Texas. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lu A. Lawson; three sisters, of which two of them are, Funmilayo Adeola and Temilade Ajala, and their spouses, who reside in Houston, Texas. He is also survived by his younger brothers, who reside in Lagos, Nigeria; and several nieces and nephews. He was a gentleman with the soul of an angel and may his soul rest in peace. Family and friends will meet at 1:30pm, Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway and will go in procession to Mt. Olive Cemetery for a 3:00pm graveside service.
