

Kelly, Barbara (Bobi) Sue, age 88, of Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away on May 7, 2025. Bobi was born May 10, 1936, in Knoxville to Deadrick Reaford and Anna Bernice Webber Underwood. During her life, she lived in Tennessee; Washington, D.C.; Texas; Africa; Alabama; Alaska; Nebraska; and Georgia. While living in D.C., Bobi gave her life to Jesus Christ and was baptized at the church she attended. After returning to Knoxville, Bobi graduated from East High School in 1954. Her professional career as a pharmacy technician began at Kmart where she worked for many years. On May 12, 1984, Bobi married Clyde Kelly. She enjoyed being outside in the sunshine and loved nature along with all of her four-legged “children”. Her laughter was contagious and will be cherished and remembered by many.
Preceded in death by her loving husband of 28 years, Clyde Kelly; daughter, Sharon (John) Sarro; parents, Deadrick and Anna Underwood; sister, Doris (Frank) Seif. Survived by her children, Mike (Nina) Roberts and Connie (Russell) Ramsey; grandchildren, Kyle (Ashley) Ramsey, Chad Ramsey and Clint (Hannah) Roberts; great grandchildren, Bailey and Jaxson Ramsey; faithful companion, Cleo; and special friends and caregivers, Gail and Pauline.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM-6:00 PM on Monday, May 12, at Berry Highland South Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 6:00 PM with Rev. Dallas Harrell officiating. A private interment will be Tuesday, May 13, at the East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.
