Betty Ruth Dalton

Dalton, Betty Ruth (Miss Betty)-age 85 of Knoxville, went home to be with our Lord March 11, 2011. Member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church for 35 years where she faithfully served in the church nursery for over 30 years. Miss Betty’s passion was for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, her family, her church and all children. Preceded in death by her mother Juanita Waters, a brother who died in infancy and her children, Annita and Larry Sewell. Survived by daughter and son-in-law Gloria and Mark Nipper, son Randy Dalton and daughter and son-in-law, Cami and Jim Morris; grandchildren, Todd Helton, Justin and Valerie Nipper, Alex Nipper, Eric and Brandi Dalton; great granddaughter, Grace Elisabeth Morris. Receiving of friends from 1:00-3:00 pm Sunday, March 13, 2011 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with the funeral immediately following, officiated by Dr. Deron Cobb. Family and friends will meet at 12:00 noon on Monday for graveside services at Highland Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers: Randy Dalton, Todd Helton, Jim Morris, Alex Nipper, Justin Nipper, Mark Nipper.
