Bill John McCoige

BILL J. McCOIGE (Knocky) born July 29, 1938 in Morristown went to be with Jesus Friday, June 12, 2015 at Parkwest Hospital. Bill graduated from Morristown High School. As a member of Grace Baptist Church he served as a deacon and on many committees. Bill had a heart for missions, both local and abroad. Survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Betty; son, Randy; special nieces and nephews and many “best” friends. He started his career at National Cash Register Company, worked in real estate and was co-owner of several restaurants. His family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to the doctors and nurses at Parkwest CC unit and to the many friends who prayed, called, sent cards and brought food. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Monday at Weaver’s Chapel with the service to follow at 7 pm. Family and friends will meet at 10:15 am Tuesday at Baker’s Forge Cemetery in LaFollette for a 10:30 am interment. Curtis McGinnis Sunday School Class will serve as honorary pallbearers.
