Billy R. Watkins, age 70, of South Knoxville, passed away Saturday, March 19, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert, Sr. and Bonnie Watkins. Billy is survived by his sisters, Joann Sammons, Patsy Rose, Linda Hodges, Ginger Watkins, and Jill Ray; brothers, Robert Watkins, Jr.; and David Watkins; special niece and caregiver, Shannon Hall; and several other nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 23rd from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM with the funeral service to follow at 8:00 PM, Rev. Tom King officiating. Family and friends will meet at Rocky Hill Cemetery at 11:00 AM Thursday, March 24th for the interment.
