Bobbie and her husband Grady married on December 27, 1948, and ended up spending 65 loving years together. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and Christian. She was a long time member of South Knoxville Church of Christ where she taught Sunday School for decades. Bobbie was a wonderful seamstress and enjoyed her bowling league which she did until the age of 91. She loved hiking and doing jigsaw puzzles. Bobbie always had a positive attitude and had a smile on her face. Everyone that knew her loved her dearly. She is preceded in death by husband Grady B. Hurst DC; daughter Debbie Fittro; parents Folly and Grace Craighead; sisters Lerleen Stamps and Jean Hester and daughter-in-law Betty Hurst. Bobbie is survived by children Ronald Hurst, Rickey (Margaret) Hurst, Kenny Hurst and Donna (Ken) Carter; 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren and son-in-law Jerry Fittro. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in Bobbie's name to South Knoxville Church of Christ or Healing Hands International. Bobbie's family welcomes friends for a Visitation on Friday, March 4, 2022, at Berry Highland South, from 12pm-2pm with a Funeral Service starting at 2pm. A Graveside Service will follow at Berry Highland South Cemetery.
