Bob was a devoted man of Baptist faith who loved the Lord with all his heart. His passion for singing gospel hymns and sharing God's word was evident to all who knew him. Bob never met a stranger—his warm spirit and gift for conversation made everyone feel like family from the moment they met.
Born to Carl and Nellie (Ogle) McCarter, Bob lived a life centered on faith and family. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Eula Gray McCarter, as well as his parents.
He leaves behind a loving legacy through his son, James McCarter and daughter-in-law Pearlie; his brothers, Joe Mitchell (Wendy), Lester Mitchell (Robin), and Claude McCarter; along with several cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews who will miss his stories, his songs, and his boundless love.
Throughout his life, Bob touched countless hearts with his genuine kindness and unwavering faith. His greatest joy came from sharing the gospel and fellowship with others, a testament to his deep spiritual conviction.
Bob has now joined his heavenly choir, where we can take comfort knowing he is singing praises to the Lord he so faithfully served.
