Calvin Wright Jr., age 55 passed away February 4, 2026 at his home. He was born March 16, 1970 in Kingsport, TN. Graduated from Sullivan South High School in 1988 and then East Tennessee State University in 1994 with a degree in Marketing. Calvin worked a short time for his uncle at Wright’s Cafeteria in Knoxville before moving on to General Manager for Cracker Barrel and the Sonic where he was a Regional Award Winner.
Growing up, he played in various sports but loved football the most, Calvin was a Big Vols fan and loved to watch comedies. He loved his children and his granddaughter very much.
Preceded in death by his wife, Mary Wright and father Calvin Wright Sr, along with his grandparents in Knoxville and Kingsport TN. Survived by his children daughter; Hailey Price (Robert), sons Jesse Wright and Blake Wright; Granddaughter Alex Price; Mother Mary Ann Wright; Sisters Sonja Lee (Paul), Stephanie Williams (Terry), Christi Wright; nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
