Baty, Carl Wayne, age 58, lost his courageous fight against cancer on Sunday August 3, 2014 at his home with his loving wife by his side. He was of the Baptist Faith. Carl was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was preceded in death by parents Roy and Barbara Baty. Survivors include: loving wife Diane; brother and wife Tony and Melinda Baty; son Justin Baty Durham; daughter Lindsay Baty; grandson Noah and his mother Leigh Ann; several nieces and nephews; one half-sister; along with many loving friends. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 7-9 PM at Berry Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet on Thursday at 10:00 AM at Woodlawn Cemetery for a graveside service.
