Carroll Glenn "Pooter" Houser, age 61, of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord Saturday, March 31, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents Burl and Lucille Houser; brothers Darrell, Franky, Gene, and Tommy Houser. Pooter is survived by his wife, Sherry Houser; daughter, Melissa (Tairon) Slappey; sons, Justin (Olivia) Houser; and Brandon Houser; grandchildren: Jade, Olivia, and Juliana Norman; Landon, Mya, Brooke, Nathaniel, Carson Houser; and one on the way; brothers, Mike and Jerry; Houser; sister, Vickie Thomas; beloved nieces and nephew Anna Thomas, Tiffany and Shawn Houser; several other relatives and friends. Family will receive friends Wednesday, April 4, 2018 from 6:30 PM until 8:00 PM in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway with the funeral service to follow at 8:00 PM.
