

Landstreet, Catherine Hughes, born August 27, 1927, went to the arms of her Heavenly Father early Christmas morning, December 25, 2014. Catherine was a member of Erin Presbyterian Church for 50 years and longtime supporter of the Humane Society. She was preceded in death by her beloved sons-in-law, James Earl Killian, and W. Steven Spears, and her cherished granddaughter Samantha Marie Long. Catherine is survived by her husband of 70 years, Charles Busch Landstreet; children: Alice Landstreet Hensley and husband Kenneth R. Hensley, Elizabeth Landstreet Killian, and Emily Landstreet Spears; grandchildren: Matthew R. Hensley; Kelly Jane Smith and husband Tony Smith; Sara E. Ellis and husband Billy Ellis; and Daniel C. Killian; great-grandchildren: Logan Kelly, Phillip, Isabella, and Ariella Ellis, and Skylar Wrather. She is also survived by her brother Nathaniel B. Hughes II of Chattanooga, and sister Mary Hughes Walker of Birmingham. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Tammy Heath, Brenda Russell, and Avalon Hospice for all their care and support. Family will receive friends on Monday, December 29, 2014 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon at Berry Highland Memorial Funeral Home with a memorial service to follow at 12:00 Noon.
