She is preceded in passing by her parents, Charlie and Beulah Hill; brothers, Tommy and James Hill.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband Fred Newman; son, Billy Patterson; grandson, Braden Patterson; granddaughter, Kayley Ziehl; nephew, Charlie Hill (Teresa) and several great nieces, nephews, and many other loving family members and lifelong friends.
A receiving of friends and family for Charlene will be held Friday, June 21, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway, Knoxville, TN 37920, followed by a celebration of life service at 7:00 PM.
