Charles Franklin Scott III

Rev. Charles F. "Frank" Scott III, born May 31, 1955, was called home to be with God Friday, September 7, 2018. Frank was a charter member of Heavenly View Baptist Church. His family and friends define him as a wonderful dad with an oversized heart who never met a stranger. Frank was greeted in Heaven by his parents Charlie and Pearl Scott. He is now in Heaven awaiting his wonderful kids Eddie and wife Debbie Scott, Josh and wife Ashley Scott, and Katrina and husband Travis Slover and their mother Brenda Kirby; as well as his sisters Sharlette and husband Bill Kirkland, Elise and husband James Barham, and his brother Artie and wife Rosa Scott. He will now watch over 16 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Wednesday, September 12, 2018 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway. At 8:00 PM Rev. Randy Carver will be leading the celebration of Frank's heavenly birthday. Rev. Brian Kirkland will be assisting. Family and friends will meet at Mount Olive Cemetery on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 11:00 AM for the interment. Pallbearers will be Josh, Travis, Michael, Billy, Joe, and Lynn.
