

Wednesday, July 23, 2025, as the result of a motorcycle accident. He was 44
years old.
Chris was a man with a big heart and an unforgettable presence. He never met a
stranger—always ready to lend a hand or a listening ear. He had a deep love for
his family and found his greatest joy in spending time with those closest to him.
He also had a passion for music, teaching himself how to play the guitar and
often sharing that gift with others.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Donald and Bonnie Loveday, and
Charles and Helen Forester, as well as his uncle, Tony Loveday.
He is survived by his mother, Donna Gilbert, father, Carl “Tad” Forester (Sherri); Step Father Lynn Gilbert, his children, Alexis Britt (Taylor), Sierra Neloms, and Anthony Forester; his siblings, Chelsey Hernandez (Rob), Michael Gilbert (Celeste), and Corey Forester (Sarah); and his beloved nieces and nephews, Kylar Reagan, Cambria and Sadie Gilbert.
Chris is also survived by his uncles and aunts: Tim and Vonnie Loveday, and
Steve and Betty Loveday; as well as many extended family members and close
friends who will miss him dearly including Stevie Loveday, Payton Loveday, Paisley Loveday, Amanda Jones, Courtney and Alex Ogle, Kaiden, McKinley, and Abigail Ogle.
Receiving of friends will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00
p.m. at Berry Highland South, located at 9010 East Simpson Road, Knoxville, TN
37920. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m., officiated by Pastor and brother,
Michael Gilbert. Burial will take place on Wednesday, July 30, at 1:00 p.m.
Christopher will be remembered for his kindness, his love of music, and the way
he made everyone feel like family. Though his time on earth was far too short, the
impact he made will last a lifetime.
