Clara Frances O'Connor McDonald

McDONALD, CLARA FRANCES O’CONNOR – age 87, of South Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. Clara Frances was owner of McDonald Billiards Supply. She loved being a wife, mother, and grandmother to her family and was a proud Irish Catholic Democrat. She was a graduate of Knoxville Catholic High School. Clara Frances was preceded in death by her husband, of 61 years J.D. McDonald; and son, Daniel McDonald, and several brothers and sisters. Clara Frances is survived by son, Patrick McDonald, sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Barbara McDonald, and Joseph and Penny McDonald; grandchildren, Reece and husband Jeff Foster, Caroline McDonald, Katy and husband Dr. Ben England, James and Micah McDonald; great-grandchildren, Avery and Jacob Foster, William Matthews, Declan and Aengus England; sister Mildred Padgett; and several nieces and nephews; special friends Marie and Suntanna Sims. The family would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center for their excellent care. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M., Friday at Berry Funeral Home with a Rosary Service to follow at 8:00 P.M. A Funeral Mass will be Saturday, 10:00 A.M., Holy Ghost Catholic Church with Reverend Monsignor Xavier Mankel officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
