Clara Marie McMahan

McMahan, Clara M., age 85, of Knoxville, passed away at Ft. Sanders Regional Hospital on February 8, 2011. She was a member of Arrowhead Church of God of Prophecy. She was an inspiration to all who knew her and so loved by family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Phillip and Sarah Weaver; sisters, Pauline Carden, Mildred Dyer Greer, Mamie Maples, Doris Long; brothers, Phillip, Jr. and James A. (Bob) Weaver. She is survived by husband of 66 years, Claude R. McMahan, of Knoxville; daughter, Judy (Ken) Young of Acworth, GA; son, David McMahan, of Knoxville; granddaughters, Kristin (Jerry) Kight, of Springhill, TN; Wendy (John) McKinnon, of Kennesaw, GA; three great-grandchildren, Rachel and Trevor Kight and Samuel McKinnon; sisters, Dottie and husband, Walter Liles, Knoxville; Deloris Ward, Jean and husband, Wiley Mowery, both of Spring City, TN; brother, Charles and wife, Marywill Weaver, of Spring City, TN. Family will receive friends at Arrowhead Church of God of Prophecy on Wednesday, February 9, 2011, from 7:00-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be Thursday, February 10, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Arrowhead Church of God of Prophecy and proceed to Highland Memorial Cemetery for the interment.
