Clyde Edgar Cox Jr.

Clyde Edgar Cox Jr age 80 of Knoxville passed away Sunday May 2, 2021. He retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad after 38 years. Clyde was an avid hunter that loved spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by parents, Clyde and Margaret Cox; sisters, Caroline Cox and Wilma Hansard; brothers, Jimmy and Larry Cox; grandson, Christopher Daniel Waggoner.Clyde is survived by his wife of 59 years, Linda (Hickey) Cox; son, Tim Cox; daughter Lisa (Matthew) Waggoner; grandsons, Alex (Nicole) Cox and Tyler Cox; granddaughters, Ashley Waggoner and Sarah Waggoner; brothers, Johnny (Pat) Cox and Bo (Susie) Cox, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Wednesday May 5, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Berry Funeral Home 3704 Chapman Hwy.
