Mac was preceded in death by his daughter, Terri Beth Strange; parents, Clyde and Evelyn Strange; sisters, Barbara Shinevare, Virginia Hans, Nancy Esslinger and Lynn Garner.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Peggy Dean Strange; son, Mack E. Strange; grandchildren, Hannah Elizabeth Strange and Taylor Cameron Strange; and brothers, John Strange and Paul Doyle.
A graveside service will be held for Mac on Friday, January 20, 2023 at 2pm at Edgewood Cemetery, 229 S. Gallaher View Road.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Young-Williams Animal Center or the Humane Society of the Tennessee Valley.
