Daniel you were an amazing person, and an even better friend. Everyone who met you loved you. It had been forever since we talked but I can't help but remember the days where after school we would sit and talk about life and look up at the sky wondering what's out there. Your life was taken too soon, but I know now that you're on the sky shining down on us all. And I just pray that you know how much we all love you and are going to miss you. Save me a seat sweetie. I'll miss you forever.

Daniel, I love you more than words can express. We both know this. It breaks me into a million pieces to miss you and know I have to wait to see you again. I thought of the time you were singing commercial jingles in my shower and you didn't know I could hear you and that memory made me smile, laugh, and cry. I am so unbelievably sad that I won't get to hear that for now. Our adventure time will have to wait until I'm with you once again but I will always think of you when I see it come on. I will always know you are right next to me when zombie land is playing in front of me. I will always miss watching movies on the bunk bed and our long conversations of how we are going to plan our life around each other's goals and dreams. I'll miss watching you play your video games for hours on end and watching the history channel or 300 with your uncle dan. I love you forever and there will be a time when I get to be by your side again! I can't wait until I get to see that beautiful smile again!

To soon he was called home a gentleman who  wanted the best for his family. Had great hopes as I heard him talk of his daughter and what he wanted for the future. I am so very sorry to see this.  Daniel was one of my students at Fulton, and I remember him as a very sweet boy who was always so grateful for his teachers.  My prayers go out to his family; may God grant you peace as you walk through this so difficult time.

My dearest Daniel. I know you were not my biological son but that never made a difference to me. On June 19th of 2000, when you came to me in the car that day and I told you that you were my son now, I meant it. I loved you that day and always will.
