David C Caldwell

Caldwell, David “Carl”, age 76, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, February 14, 2011. He was a member of the South Knoxville Church of God. Preceded in death by father, Dewey Caldwell; mother Nora Oxendine Caldwell; and brother, Leonard Caldwell. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Willie; daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Terry Johnson; Carla and Shane Carpenter; son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Susan Caldwell; grandchildren, Travis Johnson, Jennifer Caldwell, Leanne Pressley, Tracie Hall and husband, Steve; Jessica Childs and husband, Brian; and Melissa Pressley; great-grandchild, Keely Hickman; sister, Patsy Davis; and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his loving canine companion, Frankie. Special thanks to Steven Davis, Debbie and Jamie Johnson for their assistance to dad and mom. Family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 16, 2011, at Berry Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 p.m., Rev. Robert Branch and Rev. Roscoe Oxendine officiating. Family and friends will meet at Greenwood Cemetery on Thursday, February 17, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. for interment services.
