He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends. Donald is preceded in death by his brother, Daryle Monroe; cousin Joseph Monroe.
He leaves behind his mother and father: Wanda and Jim Monroe; son James Monroe; brothers; James and Calvin Monroe; and many cousins and good friends.
A visitation for Donald will be held Monday, February 19, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway, Knoxville, TN 37920. A graveside service will take place Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Asbury Cemetery, 5100 Asbury Cemetery Rd., Knoxville, TN 37914.
