Doris S. Lusk, age 89, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at UT Hospital. She was a lifelong member of Sevier Heights Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with all ot the ladies in her Sunday School class. Doris also, enjoyed the time spent with her friends she grew up with along with the friends she made in the neighborhood.
Doris is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Lusk; mother, Sarah "Baby" Simpson; father, David Simpson; daughter-in-law, Jayne Lusk.
She is survived by her son, David Lusk; Dale and Greta Lusk, grandkids, Jennifer and Gabriel Popp; Delena Lusk, Kasey and Jacob Schramm; Nathan Lusk; great grandkids, Kaliyah, Koralie, Keegan, Kyra and Jace Schramm.
The family will receive friends 4-6 PM, Friday, January 9, 2026, with a funeral service to follow in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway. Rev.Charlie McNutt officiating. Family and friends will gather Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Woodlawn Cemetery, 4500 Woodlawn Pike, Knoxville, TN 37920 for an 11 AM interment service.
