Dustin Ray Coburn, 46, of Alcoa, Tennessee, passed away on April 1, 2026. Born December 29, 1979, Dustin was a beloved son and family member whose life was deeply meaningful to those who knew and loved him.
Dustin received special education and was autistic and non verbal. In the ways he communicated and connected, Ray’s presence was enduring and significant, and he will be remembered with sincere respect and lasting affection.
Dustin was preceded in death by his father, Billy Ray Coburn; and grandparents Clyda Jenkins, John Jenkins, Walter Coburn, and Lucy Colburn. Ray is survived by his mother, Brenda Coburn; and his nephew, James Perry Jr.
Visitation will be held at McCarty - Evergreen Funeral Home, 7426 Asheville Highway, Knoxville, TN 37924, on April 8, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A funeral service will follow at McCarty - Evergreen Funeral Home on April 8, 2026, at 7:00 pm. A graveside service will be held at Huckleberry Springs Church, 1716 Huckleberry Springs Rd, Knoxville, TN 37914, on April 9, 2026, at 10:00 am. Please park at the Huckleberry Springs Church parking lot and walk up the hill to the cemetery.
