Edith Mae Berry

Berry, Edith Mae –age 88, was called home on Saturday, October 20, 2012 to be with the Lord, whom she loved and served faithfully. She was a loyal member of Blue Springs Church of God, a godly mother who devoted her life to her husband and family. Her unconditional love and support for family and others is a testimony of her life. We love you and will laugh with you again in Heaven, until then, give Daddy a big hug for us. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Willie Berry; parents, James and Sarah Frazier; brothers, Arthur and Roy Frazier; sisters, Helen Cunningham and Lillian Cox. Survivors include children, James Berry, Gloria Marine, Steve (Sue)Berry, Sherry Snodderly (Richard) Washuk, Susan (James) Pruitt, and Sheila Peña; grandchildren, Jason, Justin, and Amanda Berry, Kevin Bearley, Tyler Marine, Jessica, Daniel and Michael Berry, Joshua and Jared Snodderly, Nathanael Pruitt and Matthew Peña; great-grandchildren, Brenden and Ethan Berry, Faith and Nathan Snodderly, and Keely Bearley. Special thanks to Amedisys Hospice of Morristown for their wonderful care. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM on Friday, October 26, 2012 at McCarty-Evergreen Funeral Home, 7426 Asheville Hwy. Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Blue Springs Church of God with Rev. Don Ingram and Rev. T.H. Ferrell officiating.
