Edith P. Swann Justice

Justice, Edith P. Swann 94 of Knoxville, TN was comforted by Jesus, her Savior, at her passing Monday, January 12, 2015. She was a longtime member of Sevier Heights Baptist Church. She instilled the importance of family values, self-confidence, and work ethics in her children. She liked to swim and socialize with her many lifelong girlfriends. Most of all, she loved hearing about her family’s successes and activities. She is preceded in death by parents, Ed and Mecca Patterson; brothers, Clarence, Edward and Don Patterson; sister, Irene Dawn. She is survived by children, Sylvia Swann Woods, Charles Swann, Sharon Swann Davis and spouse Jim Davis, Sheila Swann, Jessie and spouse Jannelle Justice, Douglas Drake; grandchildren, Harold Woods, David and spouse Lora Woods, Sammy Swann, Mickey Davis, Mecca and spouse Jeff Kincaid, Johnathan and Julianna Justice; great-grandchildren, Steven and Sara Woods, Hannah Woods, Taylor Swann, and Cypress Kincaid. Family will receive friends Wednesday January 14, 2015 from 5-7 pm with service to follow at Berry Funeral Home on Chapman Highway.
